Test & Examination

Three-semester examinations are held in a year. Two types of tests are usually taken:

  • MT (Monthly Test) 25 Marks.
  • SE (Semester Examination) 75 Marks.
  • Note: The semester exam will be of 100 marks but it will be converted to 75% (Play-VIII).
However, 10th class students will have 100 marks exam but it will not be done in 75% marks.

CT – Class Test:

  • Full marks – 10.
  • At least 2 CTs will be conducted before each semester examination and the main result card will contain the average of 2 CTs.
  • If only 1 CT exam is attended the total marks obtained will be divided by 2.
  • If for any fundamental reason no one gets the opportunity to take the CT exam, then he will be given the opportunity to take the exam on application. In that case, 2 marks from 10 marks will be removed earlier. The marks obtained from 8 marks will be added.

MT – Monthly Test:

  • Full marks – 25.
  • There will be 1 MT before every semester examination. Marks obtained from 25 marks will be added.
  • If any MT does not get an opportunity to appear for any fundamental reason then he/she will be given an opportunity to appear on application. In that case, 3 marks from 25 marks will be removed earlier. Marks obtained from 22 marks will be added.

SE-Semester Exam:

  • All the exams in which full marks are 100 will be held in 100 marks. But the marks obtained in 100 must be converted to 75%.
Total Marks: The sum of the average marks in Monthly Test (MT) marks and 75% of the Semester (SE) examination of a particular subject will be the total marks obtained for that subject.
    Every semester
examination will be held as per academic calendar.
